What are Disbursements?

Disbursements are monies paid out by us for information relating to the property you are purchasing or selling, e.g – Title search, Property Enquiry Certificates, Council certificates and registration fees.

Can I be gazumped?

Up until exchange neither the vendor nor the purchaser is bound by any Contract and yes you can be gazumped if the vendor decides to accept another offer.

What do you do when you find a property you wish to purchase?

You contact your conveyancer who will go through the process with you to make it as painless as possible.

What is the Procedure for a Vendor wanting to sell their property?

For the majority of properties a contract is required therefore you contact your conveyancer who will prepare it on your behalf and forward a copy to the real estate agent so they can market it for you.
